FAQ

What are your program features and where will my donations go?

Safe, secure housing for females

Our 8-bed shared housing facility for females is located 20 minutes south of Downtown Dallas in a safe, quiet suburban setting.  In Spring 2025 we will open our 7,200 sq ft Dallas facility which sits on a spacious 6 acre campus to accommodate 21 young adults.

Online HS Diploma, GED and College

The Kindred Advantage offers online HS Diploma, High School Equivalency exam, GED preparation and higher education curriculum administered by Cognia accredited schools.

Daily Living Expenses

As an OCOK and Empower contractor, The Kindred Advantage must provide housing, utilities, food, transportation, essential clothing, personal items and a cell phone for the individuals in SIL.  Your donations will supplement the cost of providing these services and resources.

Provide housing and life skills training

The Kindred Advantage is a provider of housing, case management, transportation, life skills training, educational and vocational opportunities.  Our program participants advance through our evidence-based program with ease as our staff fully advocate for the success of each individual.

Onsite daycare

For participants having pre-school aged children, onsite daycare will become available in Spring 2025 with the renovation of the 7,200 sq ft Dallas facility.

Instruction Facilitators

Our evidence-based life skills modules are most times facilitated by staff or volunteers however,  we have additional costs such as staff training, transportation and accommodations for training events.  Your donations are needed and will be greatly appreciated.
